Acceptance of Terms

By using the 1Calorie app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Not Medical Advice

1Calorie is a game. The calories it shows come from Apple Health and are estimates; nothing in the app is medical, fitness or nutrition advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, and don't push past what is safe for you to add calories.

Use of Service

1Calorie is for your own personal use. City totals are shared with everyone, so play fair: don't fake, copy or tamper with workout data, don't run the app on more devices or keys than you use, and don't try to disrupt the service or reach it other than through the app and the pages we provide. We may leave out of the city totals, or remove, any data that looks fake or breaks a limit, and block keys that misuse the service.

Your Data

Your collection and your share of the city totals are kept on our server under a random key on your device (see the Privacy Policy). Workouts entered by hand count in your collection but not in any city's total. We keep this data as part of the game and can't promise it will never be lost. You can delete it at any time from the app's settings.

Cheers and Nicknames

Nicknames are given at random and cheers are a fixed set of emoji, so there is nothing to type. If a nickname comes out wrong or a cheer is used to harass, tell us through the Help page and we will change or remove it.

The app, its artwork and code belong to 1Calorie. Apple Health and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Limitation of Liability

1Calorie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including any injury from exercise.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
